Workin’

Been working a lot lately.  Pretty tired but earning pretty good money.

I get tired and sore.  I have to go online to find nature cures for all my injuries and ailments.

I’m told I have Medi-cal now but I don’t want to use it.

I have some problems with plantar fasciitis.  (My heel aches).  I have taken to taping my foot up with duct tape before I start working and that seems to help.  Don’t laugh.  When modern medicine realized how effective this is, they will produce a duct tape like material for medical use, call it some fancy name and charge patients (insurance) ten times what duct tape costs.  Oh and I don’t even have to take an advil.  No drugs!  Yay me.

A friend of mine separated his shoulder in a car accident a couple of weeks ago and is in a lot of pain.  The hospital gave him some Ibuprophen and Hydrocodone for the pain and didn’t even mention icing it and resting it.  I think this is very bad medicine.  Think about it.  The guy takes pain meds and overuses his shoulder making the problem worse right?  I’ll bet it happens all the time.  These people should be sued for malpractice more often.

If you are a good doctor then this screed does not apply to you.

Welp, that’s it!  Take care Friends!

They already have that tape. Athletes use it now; it’s colored and junk. Expensive too!

Can’t you get Obama care for free? But the problem is now that hospitals want all this information, and they keep it as well.

Often the problem with joints is that people rest them too much, they freeze up, then they don’t work right. Go to a sports-oriented site like t-mag.com, to the forums and ask someone who actuallys wants to keep their body working. A doctor is just going to cover his butt.

A nice reader sent me this advice for me sore foot problem. I thought I would add it here. Thanks so much M!

The tape you’re talking about is called “mole skin”, I believe. It is a wondrous substance and fabulous for chaffing, scrapes, and bruises. The only other remedy I’ve found for my feet is to stop wearing ANYTHING that looks or feels like patent leather or combat boots (as in “cheap”), including my once-beloved tennis shoes and sandals.
A co-worker persuaded me to try a pair of “RED WING” work boots, and though doubtful, I became a true believer. My feet felt like someone was hammering the heels with every step for years, and once I put these babies on, my feet suddenly felt like I’d died and gone to Heaven. Even my old worn-out ones still feel better than any other shoes or sandals I own, and even going barefoot pales before them. I go barefoot all year, hot or cold, except for snow, when I wear sandals on my bare feet. I’ve given even this up in favor of those ugly comforting boots. Just a thought. Sore feet suck. Sore heels are even worse. Try them even though they’re pricey at $120-150. Get some moleskin while you’re at it. Or the similar rumply-looking tape that stretches and has a glue-like sticky surface under it. You’ve probably heard all this before, huh? Then you can ignore me….I won’t be offended.
