Try Try Again

I didn’t get the job.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Aww gee I was rooting for you. There will be another.

I’m shocked that you know so early. Usually they’d just let you suffer for awhile. Well, there’s plenty of jobs out there.

Been out of pocket for a few days, sorry they didn’t hire you, it is obvious from your post here, that it is their lose, just need to continue knocking on doors. Frustrating I’m sure, off the wall here, ever thought of OTR, over the road truck driving? Some large truck companies like Swift and Schnieder will pay for you to go to a driving school, but require you to drive for them for a period of time or repay if you go to another company. Single ladies of all ages are driving, they have trucks with automatic trans and most large companies have them, a lot of men prefer automatics, easier on the left leg in traffic, I’m old school, standard shift.

      That place sounds amazing!!!!!

I don’t know how those people live on one or two hundred dollars a month though! Sounds like some of those folks don’t have cell phones or gas for their cars.

Still, a community where people know each other, work together etc. sounds good. Maybe I can visit there soon before it gets too hot.

PS. Don’t tell to many people Ryu!!! Shhhhhhh! 🙂
