Thoughts on the Old Witch Again.

I will probably talk to her still because she is interesting.

BUT I thought a lot about what she said about me.  She said basically, that in her experience, there was a REASON unemployed people were unemployed.  It was a dig at me because I didn’t take too kindly to her rough demeanor when she wanted to pay me for helping her.

Thing is…I KNOW someone she tried to employ.  She doesn’t know that I know.  And this gal now works for C (my bestie) and they get along SWIMMINGLY.  Myself, I have been working as a mother’s helper for a few months and I am very valued.  They already gave me a raise.

Ok, so I’ve let you into the courtroom in my mind…and I’ve declared myself, NOT GUILTY.  Some people are just abusive and some of us won’t work for them…even if it makes us homeless.  So sue me haters.

I’m not a piece of crap for mean people to order around.  I’m Irish and we don’t make good slaves.  We run away or die but we don’t stick around too long. (Did you guys and gals know about the Irish slave trade?)

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Yeah , I’ve heard that argument before , and by some smart people , smart enough I bookmark them into my “Assholes” category.
But times change , circumstances change , and sometimes they all add up in the wrong direction

The other reason people can be unemployed is that they’re owners of a business , like you.
Bosses tend to work harder than employees

Thanks! This witch got lucky with some real estate she bought and she used to sell used cars. She thought it was funny how she used to turn back the odometers.

Americans always claim they believe in equality. But there have never been more slaves. When someone say “no”, then we find out what their equality and tolerance is worth.

Being employed today in the USA largely means selling your soul. And then the government gets a cut of your wages too.

It doesn’t take an “employer” to assess your value as a person. Just because someone is paid more doesn’t make them better.

Ask her about the Enron or Goldman Sachs people – does she trust them because they are employed? Well, maybe not. You work for this witch, so you must humor her. She who pays the piper, calls the tune.
