Storage and Crazies

I’m almost done changing my storage space from old town to new town. I’ve thrown a lot of things away from my old household. I’m a little sad about that. Almost all the items I decorated my home with came from yardsales and the goodwill and it took me a number of years to create the cozy home we ended up with. Now I’m throwing it all away to make more space. Still, if/when I am housed again, I imagine I will want to start fresh. It will be fun to decorated again!

I was about to park my bike in my favorite spot (out in the open under everyone’s nose—where I would think thieves would feel less comfortable stealing) and I ran across one of the paranoid, homeless woman I know, hanging out near my coffee shop. She was outside…and not buying anything, as usual. I was in a good mood so I sat with her for a few minutes but rather regretted it. She is truly nuts, talking about the pentagon and how they are part of her life (don’t ask) and goes on an on about Hilary Clinton and not in a normal way. She gets loud and cusses a lot. Ugh. I’m going to try to avoid her from now on. I need to be more careful of who I let in my life. I feel like talking to her could bring something negative into my life.

A family friend died this morning, my mom called to tell me. He was a super nice man. I feel a little heavy about it.

I didn’t have breakfast or lunch because I was doing the storage thing. I had a few small meatballs at a friend’s house but I’m pretty hungry. Trying to decide if I should go to the place that has dinners in the evening…that’s the place I’ve only driven’s not as nice looking as the other place but it’s probably okay. Wish I could just go get some rice crackers and hummus but that would cost around 7 bucks! (Organic Hummus)…course, if I wait for the weather to cool down a bit I could save some for morning. It would stay cool enough in my van overnight. Meh….7 dollars is a lot now as I’m bringing in almost zero dollars!

Something needs to break for me soon.

Have a nice night all.

Hey! I have the solution to all of your problems.

You know how some cities have alot of diversity and alot of religions? Well you go to temple for breakfast, go to church for lunch and go to the muslims/buddhists for dinner! See, then your food bill can be zero, you just rotate through the different places.

They exist! I looked after I got curious. You must be willing to say that you are jewish though. Seems only poor jews are their target. I think you would learn alot from them.

hahaha…do you think I could pass myself off for one? 🙂

      • Excellent idea. I’d have no problem telling the synagogue I was a jew if I were hungry. No problem at all.

The 2nd Saturday of the month is a free food giveaway across from the OC fairgrounds. You need to be there around 6am to get a number and they start passing out food at 11am.

If you know someone who has an expired Costco card, you could go in and graze when they pass out food. You only need a valid card when you buy something, not just to walk in.

If you check the Daily Pilot, there are a lot of things going on now for the holidays that will be a free foodorama.
