Soup Kitchen Part 2

I went to the Soup Kitchen again for lunch. They had mahi fish. Can you believe it?

I found out a lot of things today about the place. You aren’t allow to show up too early. The people that run the place are sensitive to the neighbors and don’t let us hang about there. So I loitered about a nearby pawn shop and some other business while I waited for the kitchen to open. 🙂

I met a number of people of interest. C who sat next to me, has been going to the soup kitchen for ten years.

I met a young male volunteer who asked me too many questions…then I found out that he had been homeless for two years.

A masculine looking female who said she was going to borrow some money and get a room tonite and would I like to join her?

No.

Not on your life.

That is all.

Yikes! You are popular! Well this should help with your plan to reduce costs.

  2. Once you’re a regular at the soup kitchen, you’ll get to know people. You’ll start getting extra goodies to take home, stuff you can keep for later you won’t need to refrigerate.
