Some People

Some people will always be down and out.  They don’t have gratitude for anything.  They would rather complain all the time.

They don’t have respect for what they are given.  They sell their food stamps, lose their gift cards that kind people give them and some of them spend their grocery cards on booze rather than food.  It’s scandalous.  They lie a lot.  Sometimes they steal and then wonder why the police don’t like them.

I am going to double down on my efforts to make money.  I can’t stand being around the homeless community at the soup kitchen etc.  If you are one of the good guys or gals….I’m not talking about you, so don’t be offended.  If you think I’m judgmental, oh well.  If that’s my worst crime, I can live with it.

My eyes have really been opened recently and I will never give anything to a homeless person again unless I know it will be used properly.  Screw that.  I work too hard for my money to have it wasted.

Recently someone (the state? the fed gov?) paid thousands of dollars to put a guy in a rehab so he could get clean off drugs.  He was using again a week after he got out.  Just one of those thousand could have paid for so many better things.  There are people that are WORKING who could use some cash to better their lives.  Cash could help people get certified in their field.  Things like that.  What I could do with a thousand dollars.  Hey, if it’s your personal money, do what you like with it.  Burn it for all I care, but tax dollars should be used to help people that have a decent track record.

I don’t care who doesn’t like this post either.

    Sad but true things!

Usually when someone doesn’t like what someone is saying, often those shoes fit their feet. I hate when opportunities are abused and I don’t believe society today knows the meaning of the word “GRATITUDE”. It seems that most people are so rude and even have a sense of Entitlement. Instead of common courtesy, indifference seems to be the norm. I know it’s not likely to happen, but I would just like to see some old time manners. Maybe I live in a time warp, but I appreciate the upbringing I had and I’ll stick to my old fashioned ways. I don’t care who doesn’t like this comment (SMILE). Stay safe in your travels!

Thank you. I too, try to have good manners. I wonder how many I have forgotten being around such rudeness for so long. Ah well. Tomorrow is another day!
