Scheduling

For the last few days I’ve been writing out my schedule the night before so I don’t forget any important task that I need to do and so I stay on track and don’t waste a bunch of time.

I also found this website with and editable calendar that you can download using Microsoft Word.  I get a lot of emails about political meetings and social meetups that I can go to.  I’m going to add them to the schedule as I read the emails.  This way if I am bored or lonely in the evening and if I don’t have plans with a friend, I can look at my calendar for options of things to do.  I need to push myself to get “out” more.  Sitting in the coffee shop gets pretty old.

I’m also going to write down the names of local friends and acquaintances that I can call too.  Sometime I forget that I have some friends here in town.  Most of them are homebodies so it seems I’m usually the one to initiate activities but I guess that’s okay.

A friend of my daughter’s is going out to visit her and will stop by and take some of her things out of our shared storage tomorrow to bring to her (she has her own place now)….ahhhh….more space for me!!!   Maybe I will get organized someday!

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.
