A young woman I rather like asked me if she could “knit herself into my van”.  She has some issues but I think this translates into, “could I sleep in your van?”.

The poor thing has been sleeping outside for who knows how long.  It’s been cold at night.  I think it has been in the 40s.  I am never bothered in the van because I have a lot of blankets but it’s completely different outside.

How I wish I could gather all these little chickies up and let them sleep in my van.  But J used to do this and lived to regret it.  It never ends well.  He has been stolen from even.  I can’t afford to go down hill.  I have to take care of myself and this little chickie has to learn to take care of herself too.  It makes me so sad.

I hate the lying government who says they are fighting a war on drugs.  What a joke.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Yes, they are interesting. I might have to look into them again. Thanks Geez. Are you getting any ideas for what you want to do yet?
