Plan C

Plan B is free-sleeping in my van.  Plan C is sleeping rough.

If something happens to my van I am probably going to sleep rough.

I will put all my clothes etc. into my storage unit and sleep near it.

My male companion D will stay near me.

I will grab my clothes and go to the gym every morning to get clean.

I will need to do this to keep my jobs.

If something happens to my jobs I feel bad, very bad but I will go to school.  There is one nearby.  I will study for the next thing and maybe take a couple of fun classes too.

Some people even live off money the get for going to school.  I don’t think you get a lot but it will be something.

And I really like going to school.

This gives me hope.

Plan C.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

I HAVE heard of people sleeping in storage units , some in the vehicle they store within, some by making a living space in the storage unit alone……

I have been silently reading your blog for a year give or take. I too am low income but am blessed with my father helping me with housing, before this we struggled and moved a lot. Even had 3 kids on a motel room. Overall free sleeping sounds freeing but I cannot imagine sleeping rough, that sounds terrifying. I think k would try geezers idea of trying to sleep in the storage unit as plan c and make that plan d.

Sounds like a plan. Birds and deer sleep rough, and don’t suffer from it.

Let me know if you want to go to school. I can show you all the tricks, including housing. You could live on campus like an ordinary college student.
