Parkinson’s Law and Housing

Parkinson’s law is the adage that”work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.

I have less time on the computers than I used to but I’m posting on this blog more than ever.

Today I couldn’t get a regular computer at the library so I got on one that only goes for twenty minutes.  I will have to really think and time fast!

The sad thing is my website “stats” are actually worse than they were a few weeks ago.  I think I’m  just going to ignore my stats for a while.  It’s kind of like when you are trying to lose weight and although you are trending downward, sometimes you go up a little some days due to water weight etc.  It’s better to weigh in once a week or less so you don’t get discouraged and quick.  I’m thinking I might need to only look at my stats once a month…or perhaps even per quarter!

I need to work on my facebook page and try to get more readers there.  Truly, so much to do.

Do you all think I’m weird to share my struggles with promoting my blog with you?  I hope not.  I’m just a pretty honest person and I like to share whatever I’m doing if I think people will find it interesting.

Sorry no picture.  Guess this computer isn’t so good at photos either.

I try to follow your blog but work irregular hours and take care of my children, sometimes I forget but I am on FB alot – prolly too much via smart phone. If you post a link to your FB page I would definitely follow it.

I lived in Southern CA till I was 9 and visited regularly thru teens. CA fascinates me but there is no way I could move back – if it wasn’t for my dad I would be homeless – or always on the verge of homeless here in Indiana (where cost of living isn’t bad)

Thanks Indy Anna. I will try to get a Facebook page up and running soon. I had one but I don’t know what happened to it.
