New Free-Sleeper Friend

Yesterday my boyfriend and I noticed a gal getting out of a little camper truck with her cute doggie.  I just had a feeling she was a free-sleeper.  I can meet homeless people any time I want (most of which are drug/alcohol addicts) but I don’t get to meet free-sleeping people like myself very often because we are all so darn stealthy!

Anyway, I’m kind of shy but my boyfriend just walked over and struck up a conversation with her about her truck and her dog, I believe.

She and her husband are like me I believe in that they don’t care about owning a bunch of crap, they just want to earn enough for the necessities so they can enjoy their lives.

It’s so sad to me that people strive their whole lives to buy things that won’t make them happy.  Don’t they know that true happiness is found in relationships (with God and others) and achieving important productive things?

Anyway, I hope I have made a new local(!) free-sleeper friend.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Ha. Everyone has a dog today. Just imagine a doggie, a man and a woman all in one small space. If you get yourself a good guard dog, you don’t have to worry about security anymore.

I like dogs but I think it would make me too nervous to have one in the van all the time.
