Naked Wardrobe

Not my shirts.

Today I was looking for something on Craigslist and I came across an advertisement for free moving boxes.  I opened it because I am planning to reorganize my storage unit and it will help if a lot of the boxes are the same size.  I didn’t expect to receive a possible solution to my YEARNING to have a place to hang my clothes up.  The lady who was giving away boxes had wardrobe boxes!  Now why didn’t I think of that!  These are the boxes that have a metal rod in them.  I think this may work.  There are 3 of them.

I have a lot of reorganizing to do before I can even think about fitting a wardrobe box or two in the storage unit.  I’ll probably do it Sunday.  Hopefully, with enough duct tape I can make this work for at least some of clothes.

Speaking of clothes, I bought two “new” pairs of sweatpants at the Goodwill yesterday.  Now I have 3 pairs of sweats that fit me.  I can wear them for two (non-consecutive) days a week, I think.  It’s not like I break a sweat in there or anything.  I only lift weights, very moderately.  Darn, I am running out of excuses to avoid the gym.

I saw a guy in the parking lot at the gym yesterday that looks homeless; well his car did.  His windows were duct taped and he was hanging out in there.  I could be wrong about him but because I’m living this lifestyle, I think I can see these things where I couldn’t before.  I wasn’t really interested before, quite honestly.

I hope living in my van will open my eyes to a lot of new things.
