Money

As I mentioned before I lost a couple of clients last month and it really has been trying financially.

Good news!  Today and yesterday I got 2 housesitting jobs, one for this weekend, one for next.  Both are 4 day, long weekend jobs.  This will help a LOT!  One of the jobs is at the home of a long time client and friend, the other is a new person.  The new person’s house is on a hill overlooking the ocean.  So basically, I’m on vacation this weekend!  I’m going to enjoy every minute of it!

SOS food was pretty good today.  I bunch of organic fruit and some coconut milk.  Unfortunately the coconut milk had already turned even though the expiration date is at the end of this month.  Someone must have left it unrefrigerated too long.  It tastes like yogurt.  It may be ok to eat as I HAVE had coconut milk yogurt before.  I may try to eat/drink it.  We’ll see.

My van has been in the shop for a few days for something minor.  I slept at Cs house one night, but last night I snuck on the lot and slept in my van.  I didn’t get caught.  A little risky though!!!  It’s strange how little security they have there.  They had actually left my van unlocked with a window down too!  Weird huh?

I’m at a library parking lot now.  Time for my late, late afternoon nap.  This could become a habit.  Oh well.  I don’t always sleep well at night and I’m a better person when I get enough sleep.

Cool assignment. You must babysit some beautiful homes.

Sneaking in automechnic lots? Shame! They do have very light security; that’s why some advise not leaving one’s car at a dealership.

I’m happy you got two wonderful jobs, I’d like that ocean view one myself, but be carefull with that yogurt! Stay safe in your travels.
