Mental Illness

There were a lot of what I believe are mentally ill people at the “kitchen” again today.  The man two seats down from me got agitated because the gal next to me got too close to him or something.  It almost got ugly.  One of the young guys was a real gentleman and told the guy to cut it out.  It could have escalated further but everyone just said “let it go” etc…and we did.

Yesterday there was a woman there talking into her cup like it was a phone…These are just the highlights.

I’m not complaining.  Just reporting.

I have a couple of decent paying jobs lined up over the next few days so I may survive a while longer.

Bye for now Friends.

One Response to Mental Illness

Well, at least you don’t need TV or a newspaper to be entertained. What’s it like being a regular at a soup kitchen? Do you say hi to servers you see often?

I must be completely wrong in how I see it. I imagine something like the bread lines I saw in the Soviet Union. They don’t call you out and demand you stop coming and get a job? Perhaps its more like the good samaritan who trys to convert you?
