Still feel a little yucky.  I’m going to see if I can sleep at J and T’s house tonight.  It’s cold.  I had other plans but I don’t think I’m going to be up to going out on the town.

I’m really grateful I wasn’t in Pasadena when that big storm came through.  I’m an hour or so south.  That would have been SO scary!

It’s been so cold here.  It’s getting harder to clean up in the car before entering stores/coffeeshops in the morning.  Too cold.  Did I mention the heater in my car doesn’t work?

Life is never boring.  There’s always a new challenge or four to deal with.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Dude! It was in the low 40s last nite! Maybe lower!

I’m in Arizona and I don’t find much use for the heater. Another blanket on the bed, and wearing another sweater seems to do the job. I’ve become like the father in the Calvin and Hobbes comics. “Put on another sweater, Calvin!”

Ah, that’s how you know you live in the Southwest: 60 degrees is cold. In a way, I like the cold. It feels good in the mornings when the bed is warm but it is cold outside. It’s hard to get out of bed.
