Jobs

I have a job interview Tuesday with a real estate company.  I have been in real estate before.  It’s a very interesting field in many ways but there are a lot of unethical people in it.  Hopefully, this company is decent and I can work with them.  The pay is decent although I don’t believe there are any benefits.

In theory, if this job works out, I could put away a good bit of money every month…fix the van…get some dental work done etc.  This is very appealing to me.

On another note, I got to spend time last night with a lot of good people.  I got to bring food (cooked at T and J’s house, borrowing their crockpot) and be of service, kind of waiting on people and introducing new people to each other.  I live for these gatherings!  They are very emotionally satisfying!

Also, the other day my younger daughter sent me a text message.  She is taking a parenting class at college and she said the class reminded her of what a good mom I am!  It’s so nice to be appreciated and it shows maturity on the part of my daughter.  Her words made my month!

I hope you are having a nice day, wherever you are.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

It feels great when the kids say “hey, you weren’t so bad after all” or thanks for being my dad. I have 3, 1girl 2boys, sometimes they say things that let me know I did alright as a parent. My daughter has my only grandchild,a girl 5, and she has said sorry Dad for things she did at that age. Haha, pay back!!
    Well here’s to a great interview! :^)
