I Bought a Scooter

I have a new business idea that might help me make more money.  It will require me to go door to door with flyers.

I decided that rather than walk, I will use a scooter as it is faster.  I will be able to do more in an hour.  Plus I think it will be fun.

It’s not an electric scooter…you use your feet to make it go.  It’s an adult model and will hold up to 225 pounds.

Riding a scooter is easier than riding a bike, well at least so far.  I haven’t used it for a long period of time yet.

Another nice thing about the scooter folds up and fits pretty nicely inside the van unlike my bike.  I really want to use my bike more often and I could get a bike rack for my van and carry my bike around but I’d worry about it getting stolen and it’s looks kind homeless to have a bike attached to your van when you aren’t headed out to the beach or whatnot.  Especially if your van looks homeless already.  Perhaps I’m being too paranoid about it, who knows.  But you all know how I hate strangers asking me questions.

Anyway, hopefully, I will land my first client for this new thing soon and get to give my scooter try.

Warning:  I’m told you should never try to ride on of these with just one hand.  Darn.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

I always thought vans and bikes made one look hipsterish. Like one of those eco lover tree-huggers. Have fun!
