Ho ho ho hum!

Bored and lonely tonight.  It’s Friday night and all us attractive single people are supposed to be out whooping it up right?  What you say?  I’m not attractive?  Oh…so that’s the problem…Oh well I’m texting some of my unattractive friends who aren’t doing anything either….they live too far away to spend face time with….so I guess we’ll get through it.

I worked on my storage space today.  I got the wardrobe box set up and hung some clothes.  It was so much work….I had to rearrange the boxes, big time and it’s still a horrible fuster cluck in there.  I think I’m going to go back….soonish and start throwing out more stuff.  Gosh I hate all that stuff!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m glad I have plans tomorrow night at least.  I hope I feel up to it.  I’m either catching a cold, am undernourished, depressed or all of the above.  I feel yucky right now.  Blaaaaaaaaah!

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

… and it’s dark so much of the day, and it’s getting colder, and everyone’s buying into the commercial aspect of the holidays … meh! A couple of my sibs have SAD, and I kinda’ think I might have it, too. San Diego weather is good for me because at least most days have some sun. Maybe you have a touch of it?

Good plan, to have something nice to look forward to. If I lived alone, I would have to carefully plan to always have that.

I try to do plan ahead but sometimes I forget. I’m also usually the one who makes the plans which makes me wonder about my social skills. Maybe if I was a better person people would also try to make plans with me more often.

Spending a lot of time in coffee shops forces me to listen to a lot of Christmas music which can be delightful but if you’re feeling blue, not so good. It doesn’t help that some of the modern renditions play the songs in different chords (not sure if I’m saying this right) where the song actually sounds sad or scary. What kind of person perverts Christian songs that way?

I think it only means you’re more of an extrovert than the people you make plans with. I’m introverted to an absurd degree. Left on my own I would have to work hard to make plans to be with other people. My friends seem to tolerate it, and they’re often the ones who make our plans.

  2. Are there any places near where you live where you can go hunting or fishing? If you could learn to set a trot line or limb lines, you could set a few and come back in a couple of hours and have a few fish caught for a decent meal. You would need a fishing license, but it’s worth the investment.

If there are crayfish in your area, you could build a bunch simple crayfish traps from plastic two liter bottles and bait them with meaty food garbage. Boiled crayfish are tasty, like miniature lobsters.

MG, good suggestion. Maybe when it gets warmer I’ll do some fishing. I don’t think I can eat crayfish because of my allergies though.

Christmas is nearly here.. December, the month where everyone being happy becomes depressing! Keep your chin up 🙂

  4. Don’t beat yourself up over people not flocking to you, Maureen. That has left you plenty of time to blog, correct? Use that spare time to write and publish a song, design some tee shirts, and other fun stuff that doesn’t involve other people — other than for the distribution of your finished product, but you don’t actually need to speak with anyone to do that these days because it’s all automated.
