Decisions

I have trouble deciding what to do about my living situation.

It’s a pain in the butt having to drive across town to take a shower, drive to get breakfast, drive to my closet (storage space) etc.  When I think about this, I want to get a room or apartment.

Then again, how many hours would I have to work to afford a room or apartment?

At my current earning level it just doesn’t make any sense to rent a place to live.  I’m driving half the day, it seems…I’m not earning money when I drive.

I’m 99% sure I want to transition to a business where I can work anywhere there is internet access.  Right now, I’m tied to a location.  I want to be able to visit family members (all over the country) and not lose money.  I am toying with the idea of social media promotion as the business.  Maybe also, creating wordpress websites for people.  One thing at a time though.  I already have one small social media promotion job.  It’s boring and it pays around the same as my regular business.  I think I’m going to build on this…try to get more clients.  I have an add on Craigslist but no replies yet.  I probably need to talk to people in person…ugh.  Oh well.

The website creation probably pays better but I’m not very good at it yet.  I should probably star focusing on learning it though.

Anyway, I’m writing all this here, to get my goals”on paper”.

So here are the goals right now.

1.  Figure out how much money I need/want to make per month

2.  Figure out if I can make that with Social Media Promotion and/or WordPress Website Design.

3.  If the answer to number 2 is YES,   Study (on Youtube) WordPress web design.

4.  Work on getting social media promo clients

One of the things I am learning is that it is better not to charge by the hour.  There seems to be more money in charging by the job.

PS.  I am in a goal-setting mindframe from listening to Underearner’s Anonymous meetings on the phone.  If you have issues with underearning, you might want to check them out.

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.
