Burning Bridges Part 2

OMG I still don’t have those bench seats out of my van.  I have had SO much work this week…more than I’ve had in MONTHS.   What the heck???

I’m not sure I properly explained why I feel like I’m burning my bridges.  It’s because I’m choosing to throw almost everything into the storage facility and only keeping one change of clothes and my toiletries in the van at a time.  I need to do this so I have room for my air mattress on the floor.  I know it sounds stupid but putting almost everything in storage is a big deal to me.  It means I have to be extremely organized and we are coming to find out,  my inner procrastinator doesn’t really like getting organized.  I have to be organized because if I forget something…like my socks or the correct shoes, I have to go back to the storage or do without.  I’m busier than ever now, so I hope I can do this.  I will have to have lists…lots of lists.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

It seems inefficient to go to the storage hut every single day. Surely there is excess space on the mattress even when you are lying on it. You can sleep on it, and throw some other stuff on the mattress as well.

I think there will be space on the sides of the mattress. Maybe you’re right. I hate going to the storage too much. I get paranoid about someone noticing my frequency and following me “home” or something.
