Bike Riding

I rode my bike everywhere today.  I’m sore from it.  I hope I get used to it soon.  I still need to get the battery thing taken care of.  A friend is going to put it in for me because they don’t do installations at the $29.99 place.

I still should ride my bike a lot but it’s not convenient at all.  It makes me late for everything.  Having a car/van makes all the difference in homelessness.  Without one, you are just screwed.  Your world becomes very small and you are at everyone’s mercy.  People are willing to help and naturally, it’s on their timeframe.  I can understand that but it’s a logistical nightmare when you are dying on the vine.

A friend flaked on me this morning and to her it’s no big deal but she has no idea how much harder it made my day.  People make mistakes….I make tons…so I will forgive of course but it is a reminder to me to follow through on what I say I will do.

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Ah! Bikes break too. Ussually at the worst times too, when one is furthest from home. I see bikes at Goodwill for like 20 bucks.
