Better and Better

I got through my first (4 day) week at my new job.  So far it seems okay.  One of my office mates talk a bit too much.  I’m going to need to learn to block her out a little.  The kind of work I’m doing requires a bit of concentration.  I’m going to try not to get emotionally involved with any of the weird pettiness, negativity and just plain weirdness that goes on in these places.  Yahweh help me!

My van isn’t running that great so I’ve been looking at gyms, grocery stores and laundry mats even closer to my job  so I don’t have to drive as much.  I don’t know if there are good sleep spots anywhere near that area.  I’m going to skulk around there tonight (Fri)…in just a bit and see if it would be feasible for me to sleep there during the week at least.  I would rather be at the beach but I’m so busy during the week, it’s not like I can see the ocean or anything.  It will be enough to just go there on the weekend.  Thing is, it’s kind of a commercial area and the residential area…I’m thinking they might have a lot of restricted parking.  I may be wrong though…it may pay off to investigate my options rather than assuming things are a certain  way.

Can’t think of much else to share.  I have to catch up on my internet blog reading and such now.  I haven’t had time to read all week.  This is good as I was on the internet too much.

The vegan eating is going ok although today I accidentally ate some meat in an eggroll I had today…someone brought homemade eggrolls to work!  Yummy, I must say!

Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.  Thanks for reading!

About Maureen, Living in a Van

I'm a free-sleeper living in a van in the prettiest part of the world. I do this partly due to financial circumstances and partly because I love a good adventure.

Sounds like camping time. Do they have camping areas nearby?
